Currently, our local registrars are doing minimal amounts of actual election-day registration duties. The majority of those duties revolve around early voting.

Currently our registration is outsourced to the Secretary of State's office which is then outsourced again to a 3rd party vendor named Civix in Indiana. A January 23, 2023,3 document released by the Secretary of State is asking for this process to be made law and changed to Title 18.

The current Secretary of State is also giving legal advice to our Clerk of Court regarding elections and registration. This is not supposed to happen, and the constitution clearly states that only the State Attorney General's office is supposed to give legal advice the Clerks of Court offices.

By following state law, we have identified over 700,000 ineligible and inactive voters on our voter rolls. Some of these 700,000 are registered at Post Office boxes (which is against State law), at physical locations that have been closed for years, and a small percentage that are officially deceased individuals. The majority of these ineligible individuals should be purged according to State law, but this isn't being done, because this is how they steal your identity to vote.

Once again, the main aspect of our campaign is to restore the power back to the local people as it should be. Instead of one portal in and one portal out that is easy to hack, we propose local registration by the local registrar of voters in all 64 parishes. This will make the process much more transparent and by following existing law, clean up our voter rolls.
